Bespoke Designs

Bespoke items can be produced from clients own specifications and fabric by contacting me directly. A popular choice for brides is to create a unique flower using their own bridal fabric.

Here is one a made earlier! The size has been changed and instead of using a vintage cream silk dye, I used a black dye for the grey tint. Have a look an the Chloe flower on my website:

I have also been working on a special hair flower for my darling sister who is off to wedding soon, and fancied something unusual. She also stated she doesn't wear 'flowers'. The challenge was on!

Okay so it's been a long time since my last blog, but i've been busy. I have set to work creating my own range of silk hair flower. I have spent a lot of time researching millinery techniques and the French art of silk flower wrapping. I have finally produced a collection of 36 pieces to be sold on wwww.rachaelstaples.co.uk. At present I only have temporary photos in place. Hopefully these photos will soon be replaced with some colour images shortly.

Okay this is my very first post! Yeah! I have very little experience with blogging but I thought I would give it a go.

Whilst bored several years ago, I set up a website selling hair accessories. I built the website, found my products and did quiet well. Now I have decided to take the website in a new direction, (mainly due to suppliers going bankrupt).

So introducing: www.rachaelstaples.co.uk. This new website will only sell hand made silk flowers for your hair. Hopefully with a new 'eco and fair trade attitude' I will achieve all and more of my old website.

So I will blog about the goings on of setting up a small time business, with all it triles and tribulations
